We are using [url removed, login to view] on Linux with Apache server. Our forms are basic HTML and PHP.
We have several web forms on our website that are used by customers daily. We have a script so that the forms are sent to us via email. The email subjects say "Form from "first name" "last name". Using variables in our script like $firstname $lastname, everything was working fine. However, we also use WHMCS, which requires us to have register_globals turned off in our PHP settings for it to work it certain areas. Once we turned this off, the form script stopped delivering the email titles with $firstname $lastname.
What we need:
We need the $firstname $lastname variables to show up in the email titles and still keep our WHMCS working properly. We're hoping there is a way to keep register_globals turned off for WHMCS but kept on for these forms or something similar. We are not PHP experts though.
We also want to implement some code into PHP to prevent spammers putting it useless information and links.
