We need an experienced programmer to install VLC media player on our Centos linux server and tweak it so that it can automatically download video files from torrents files which has to be uploaded by the user. What we want is that the user logs in to the server , upload a torrent files, then the video file is downloaded via the torrent and then after complete downloading, the user can see the status of the download and then start to play the video by the VLC player and the user can then watch it online with our server.
Ideally, we can setup a web based Transmission seedbox on the server and users can easily just browse the torrent file from your local computer and download it. The downloaded file is then stored on a specific location on the server.
So what we want is that the VLC should be configured to be able to get the video feed from this location where the files are downloaded and then users can then select which of the video files to be played.
