For each shipping module, each Quote returns an array named Method, comprised of "id", "title", and "cost".
I have modified the method arrays to include "Esd" and "Edd" (estimated shipping date, and estimated delivery date)
$methods = array('id' => $type, 'title' => $_type, 'edd' => $_edd , 'esd' => $_esd, 'cost' => ($this->handling_fee + $cost));
These values (esd and edd) are shown to the customer on page = [url removed, login to view] (in addition to the default Title and Cost values.
Currently, during the [url removed, login to view], based on the client's selected shipping method, 'edd' is added to the "title" and stored in the ot_totals table. Example = "UPS Ground, Estimated Delivery Date: Mon, Feb 7th"
I would like to however, be able to store the esd, and edd values in their own seperate fields (either in the ot_totals table, or the orders table), rather then just adding to the 'title' text string, so that I may extract them, and manipulate them later.
