2. Modifications to scripting required. Experience with phpmydirectory scripting is essential
1. Limit of 6 businesses per category per location:
In every category, only 6 businesses will be listed per council. This will need to be coded in, restricting more than 6 entries.
How will this be sourced?
You'll be provided with the list of councils and the postcodes as well are suburbs within each council.
IE. Council of Monash:
Chadstone 3134 etc. full list per council will be provided later.
Listing business's perspective:
When listing is made, they will be able to request to have their businesses listed within a specific Council. IF less than 6 businesses have been listed under than category in that council, submission is possible. Once 6 businesses have been listed under that business and that council, no more listings will be accepted to appear on the page.
Visiting user to website's perspective:
Visitor accesses website
They then search for “life coaches” and enter 3156 in the “state” search criteria,
The top6 businesses that are listed in the Council of Monash will be shown. (This is the council that 3156 is listed under)
2. Set Listing Order of businesses under directory;
Under directory, I'll have 4 listings, ranked from highest listing cost to free listing.
Executive – Most expensive listing
Premier – 2nd most expensive listing
Standard – Free fixed listing
Free trial listing – trial period for one month, with the executive option
I'd like the settings to be controlled so that:
Executive listing will always appear first on a search result page, followed by the premier, the free trial period and lastly the stand listing.
Only one executive listing is possible per category per council. Once a business has chosen the executive listing option in a category, no other business can choose this option until their listing period runs out.
Up to 5 premier listings can exist.
This will need to be coded in.
More details will be sent as requested.
