IMPORTANT: Do not bid unless you can deliver this in less than 24 hours. I also need clear communication from the moment that the project is accepted.
I cannot give you access to the live site for this and am attaching the files that are being used. If other files need to be amended, I need you to give me clear instruction on what to do. Once this has been tested and is working 100% on the live site, payment will be released. We will upload/amend and test immediately that you provide us with the fixes.
I need help with an API that updates a remote and unrelated database. The API is on an osc website
This works with the VCS payment gateway, but has NOTHING to do with the payment for orders. This is an extra service that VCS provides for control and payment of referral commissions. This API has only 1 purpose – to update the remote VCS system with the client registration information.
What it does:
The site has a referral system where customers can refer other customers and get commission. The principle is that customers can earn back what they paid for their purchase if they refer a certain number of people.
Only 1 product is sold on the site. It is a virtual product and each customer will only ever buy it once.
After a customer has made a purchase, they log into their account and go to a new page called [url removed, login to view] and they enter an identification number. This is their registration number for the vcs system.
When they click on ‘continue’, two things must happen:
1. The registration number is saved to TABLE_CUSTOMERS (already working)
2. The information is sent to the VCS system using the API ([url removed, login to view])
What I need:
I need the API code checked and fixed. It was originally written to work with a cron job and update all customers who registered in the last 24hours. Now it must work only with the current customer who has registered, so it will in fact be a lot simpler now.
In [url removed, login to view] I need the code added that will trigger this API when the customer clicks on ‘continue’
