We are an concert venue that will be installing trixbox 2.0 for our pbx system. There are a few things that we can't get trixbox to do out of the box. We need the ability to provide a " Concert Hotline " as in where a caller would call in and get a standard auto attendant.
The caller would have a choice to do the following:
For a listing of upcoming events press 1 for our Concert Hotline
To Purchase Tickets - Press 2
For Directions and hours of operation - press 3
If they press 1 they should get a recorded message that we would updated daily. We need the ability to record this message from any extension "SIP PHONE" without having to login to the freepbx web interface.
If they press 2 it will connect them to a standard asterisk call queue. We would like it to provide them with their position in the queue and then begin playing the "Concert Hotline" recording for the music on hold. We also need the music on hold to be able to not restart the recording every time the caller is updated with their queue position.
We only want to have to perform the Concert Hotline recording once so both area's need to play the same recording.
If you have questions please PM me.
I think it's one of the simplest projects regarding VoIP on this site. Building such a hotline is a matter of hours not days for me (I take 2 days as a maximum) since I've developed hundreds alike applications.
