The person that originally wrote the perl scripts for our website has moved on, so we need someone to add features / capabilities to our website's perl/msyql shopping cart scripting. We are a wholesale music distributor and currently have in place, a basic shopping cart in which our customers can place orders which are emailed to us for fullfillment by our sales staff. We'd like to add several new features;
1. We have two quantity columns in our mysql database. Qty Available, and Qty in Stock. We'd like to change the current [url removed, login to view] script so that the "add to cart" button instead say's "Preorder Now" if the Qty available is greater than zero, and the Qty in stock is zero. The qty available column shows us quantities on order from our suppliers. Qty in stock is th number currently on our shelves.
2. We've added 2 new fields to our mysql database since the original script was created. We'd like these new fields added to the [url removed, login to view] display script.
3. We have two html pages that list our new releases and restocks. Each page has a series of rows and columns (7 columns = 7 weeks) and (15 rows = various genres of music). We use hyperlinks in each cell to pull the various items from our database based on either the new release date or restock date, depending on the page. Currently, we are manually changing these hyperlinks every 7 weeks, but we'd like to have a script that would find and replace the current dates with the dates of the coming 7 weeks.

I've worked before with perl shopping carts and databases. Particulary [url removed, login to view], and a music one i created myself at [url removed, login to view] I can make these few adjustments for you easily and professionally.
I am an experienced Perl/CGI developer from London, UK. I have worked before on Perl/MySQL-based websites (although I'm new to [url removed, login to view]) and would be very happy to assist you. Regards, Simon.
