mp3 crawler

hi there,

we need a mp3 crawler to which we could feed host names and the crawler should get all mp3 links from that server and also store the ID3 information of those mp3's in our database.

we also need a script which we could run periodically to check dead links and remove them from the database.

we already have a system ready.

our current crawler is in RUBY.

the problem with it is that it hangs up in between and then we manually need to stop the crawler and restart it.

we also have php scripts to get host names and mp3 links through google and other mp3 sites.

so all this scripts would be there for your help if you decide to use the same technology.

we are open to any language but you need to justify.

we have a meeting with our financers within 10 to 12 days so we need serious coders who could finish the work in the given time period.
