Integrate Community, forum and Blog

In order for you to bid on this project, you must be experienced in html, PhP, MySql, CGI for design, installation, advanced modification and website integration. Herein I will refer to you as the "design specialist". You should be skilled at content and layout manipulation. You should be able to manipulate state-of-the-art webapplications (where you separate the content and data from the design via Php and/or MySql in most cases). In other words, you need to be able to edit pre-existing code, change and modify applications that access databases using PhP and MySql.

The "design specialist" I select will also receive credit for their work on the website, including "sponsorship, links and design credit". You will get a lot of solid exposure after you finish this project.

This project consists of two simultaneously developed components;

1) An Online Community Project, which you will develop using my detailed instructions. I will provide more specific details upon selecting a "design specialist". I have the HTML design and CSS ready.

2) Installing, Integrating, Modifying and Testing the entire website.

If you are choosen as our "design specialist", we will arrange a retainer payment based upon the quote you give us for the entire project. We will then make additional payments to you over the course of the projects development. We anticipate that you will be able to complete the project within 15 days, and probably less depending on your dedication and available time. I will conduct most of the final testing and evaluation when it is finished; however, each webapplication should be able to function as you are developing the site (live) so I can monitor your progress online. I will also need regular progress reports. We will arrange all the details through email and payments through paypal.com.

Please read and understand the following:

Overview: I have designed the look of a membership based website that I need a few scripts installed (PhP, MySql, Cgi) and I want the entire project to be integrated to work seamlessly together. I have several of the scripts already, but they will need to be "integrated" with each other. Also the main PhP/MySql is already designed/built, just need to install, modify, and integrate all the scripts/applications and integrate them together using the same user database.

Each webpage "output" must conform to the exact CSS based model which I will provide in HTML format (using a css style sheet).

Here are some of the basic applications that are planned for this site:

A. content management and website control/oversite using "movabletype.com" (I have scripts). I will use movabletype to controll the main content of the website, except for any applications we will be adding such as invisionboard (which has its own "content management" app). The "design" will be using the same CSS file for all pages.

B. membership sign-up using password/username that follows the member througout the entire website including the main page ([url removed, login to view]), the forum and all applications (using only one login, also see letter "C" below).

C. discussion forum using "InvisionBoard.com" (I have scripts, license). Must be integrated and modified to use the membership login as used on website front page (could use the existing member login and modify the other apps to conform to the invisionboard login scheme). I will use the "bulk-emailing" option included in invisionboard to send out regular "newsletters".

D. integrated form processor script (I have) for response forms, etc. Prefer use of HelpDesk style response management with FAQ Style page output (have scripts, need modification and install).

E. integrated download manager for paypal purchases of downloaded products (have scripts, need modification and install).

F. small paypal store integrated using username/password and paypal buy button for items for sale (shirts, cups, etc).

G. custom modification of "tell a friend" script (I have, need modification and install).

H. modify and integrate 'photo-upload' ability in invisionboard to include multiple images (easy).

I. integrated PostCard script allows images on website to be emailed to any email from selected galleries (have scripts, need modification and install). This is NOT a click to locate PostCard on our server script, but will actually send the image and a small advertisement to the chosen person.

Note: I am looking for a very reasonable quote because I have most of the scripts/applications and I only need someone to put it all together in an integrated design using my basic theme. This is not going to be easy, but it is not a very difficult, from-scratch design either.

Please submit your quote, examples of your work and a rough idea of how long you estimate the project will take.

I am not looking for someone to RUSH completion to this project. I want you to be comfortable completing this project in a reasonable amount of time. You will be rewarded for excellent workmanship!
