40609 Looking for a good programmer

I am looking for a programmer with good skills for ongoing projects. My main concern is good communication. I am looking for someone with lots of good feedback - with good communication being mentioned in feedback text. A few years of PHP / MySql minimum and knowledge of Perl is a plus. Here I have a simple test project of some basic PHP / html coding with simple tags. Let's get started with this project so I can keep the work coming. You should only bid if you are the one who will do the work. I only wish to communicate with people that are doing the work == save the 'My Team of Professionals...' garbage. Simple Test Project: Setup my membership site on a top notch membership script which is already installed on the server. The templates need to be configured and the content put in place so the site looks good. The membership server system is called http://VisionGatePortal.com. Please view their site for details on what the system is. This is a simple database driven PHP template website setup. I need my current design website integrated into a visiongate portal (membership software) system. No programming is necessary on this project so this is where your communications ability will be put to the test. Familiarity with the visiongate portal system is a big plus so give me some examples if you've done any - but the system is easy for anyone skilled even in simple HTML. What is involved is creating a number of templates out of my current static html webpage. The 'template' has tags such as %%articletext%% and %%newspost%% and %%forumpost%%. These tags are placed into the template and when the page is viewed the content is pulled into place. The templates are simple to setup and will only take a short time for a skilled html coder. There are a few templates - they are only slightly different based on the 'visitor status' such as 'not logged in' 'registered user' 'paid user level 1' 'paid user level 2' etc. Also involved is transferring about 100 articles from various static web pages into the backend of the membership admin. There are a few article categories which need to be created - then the text of the articles simply needs to be copy/pasted into place. For this project I want you to bid on about 10 hours of your time. I personally think this is much more time than it will take but I'd like you to fill in the extra time with a few server tweaks, or setting up phpBB and moving data from another phpBB install. I have many other tasks for skilled programmers so if you are skilled at more advanced levels please let me know - I would like to use this project to meet you and see what you can do. Communication via Yahoo IM is required. I am especially looking for someone with high speed internet and a telephone so I can call you. In the next few months I will be looking for a full time coder and if you have the above and the skills you could be the one - but you'll have to prove yourself first. I could do all this stuff myself very easily but have been very busy so I look for someone to help out.
