I need one of the .js files in the attached package to be modified to write four values to a SQL Server 2005 database. The package itself is a SCORM e-learning exam; I will provide you with a site to upload and run the package to make sure the modifications work.
## Deliverables
As mentioned, the attached package is a SCORM e-learning exam. You can upload and run the package for free, as well as learn more about what SCORM is, at [login to view URL]
My SQL Server 2005 database table contains four columns to be written to: StudentName (nvarchar), StudentId (nvarchar), Score (float), and Time (datetime). The values I need written to the database are the student name, the student ID, the exam score, and a timestamp. Once I accept your bid, I will provide you with a login ID with read and write permissions; please let me know what other information I need to provide you with to allow you to connect to the database.
The best place to access the score is in the file /js/os_learningObject.js. In this file, there is a function called DataSaveX(). This function is called when the Score Test button is pressed. At that point, the exam score is saved in a value called "[login to view URL]".
The student name and student ID values are stored in cmi.core.student_name and cmi.core.student_id. I don't know the exact syntax to access these values, so figuring that out will be part of the project.
The timestamp, of course, is the current date and time.
The project will be considered complete when the uploaded package successfully writes these values to the database every time the "Score Test" button is pressed. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. Thanks for bidding!
