An e-Commerce Store for Customized T-Shirts

We are looking to launch an e-business which entails retailing of T-shirts with a focus on engaging the customer in the design process. Hence the website forms the primary avenue for customers. In this project, we are looking to create an e-commerce website integrated with a "t-shirt designer module" which, as the name suggests, lets the clients design on their t-shirts. Apart from the very basics of apparel designing, we would like the tool to have the following features - 1. The user should be able to upload graphics from his local computer and add them to his/her design. 2. The admin panel should support addition of clip art and fonts. 3. The tool should be able to figure out number of colors in a particular design. This, along with the total number of t-shirts in an order, is instrumental in estimating the cost/t-shirt. 4. We have a standardized rate chart based on number of colors in a design. This chart needs to be integrated into the tool. 5. The user should able to seamlessly change the color and/or style of the base t-shirt during or at the end of his designing session. 6. The user should have an ability to print his design on a regular printer. 7. This tool should be ready to be plugged into a regular e-commerce software. The e-Commerce part of the site is expected to perform basic e-Commerce operations like user account management, order processing, payment processing, shipping, etc. using the latest web technologies out there and is (obviously) also expected to be tightly coupled with the design tool.
