I am tasked with deciding whether to move to xp embedded from NT 4 embedded. But want to create a presentation for my boss on why it makes sense given the risks.
The risks are:
a) bios problems
b) the possibility that drivers in nt 4 won't work in xp embedded.
c) new system requirements
d) moving from rpl to pxe booting
I would like comprehensive document done within 2 days that outlines all the reasons to do it and risks associated.
it should be no shorter than 2 pages 12 point arial single spaced.
The device being built is an embedded server that server files and some media on an AMD 500mhz lx platform.
You are welcome to add colaterals to this and anything else. A bonus may be provide if I find it very useful and you go well beyond the requirements.
