I am starting a small at-home-computer service company. I would like to have a simple application that allows me to manage my work orders: I need it to: Add, Mark as in Progress, Complete, and Cancel. Also I need to see a list of the orders placed in a period, like per month. Orders are very simple: Customer Name, Address, Phone, etc. Then PC Brand, SN (if any), Problem Type and Description. Then at closing, a field for Action Taken, Parts Ordered, and Price. I dont need a very complex management, as I will be creating the invoicing on a Boxed Application. HERES THE TRICK: I would like this to be Web Based, so I can run this app from any web browser, even from a PDA on the road. My host company's plan is: [url removed, login to view] Check and tell me if that is sufficient. EDIT -------------- The attached file now has the structure of what I need.
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
Web Based, ASP, Perl or whatever, as long it works in the most rudimentary browser, like a PDA.
