I am in need of urgent advice and help. I have had a script written which is an e-mail forwarder (which gives access to my database). I have had an e-mail sender setup where once a user buys a list amount and goes through paypal, they get get a confirmation e-mail with login details and a link to the e-mail sender then they can use the sender.
Now, my issue is that my programmer has assured me of it being a 98% deliver rate to the inbox and when she has tested, it has gone to her inbox however all my test e-mails loaded onto the script, they either don't come through or go to junk (1 or maybe 2% has gone to inbox out of all the tests I have done.
Can anyone help?
We have tried removing the html from the actual e-mails sender and installing a new sttmp sender instead of a php one however it hasn't made any difference really.
I have done a bit of research and apperently my ip is blacklisted under the PBL (policy) and I am not sure about my DNS but I have read that
"Check your reverse DNS to make sure the IP address of your mail server points to the domain name that you use for sending mail.
Make sure that the IP-address that you're using is not on a blacklist
Make sure that the reply-to address is a valid, existing address.
Use the full, real name of the addressee in the To field, not just the email-address.
Monitor your abuse accounts, such as abuseATyourdomainDOTcom and postmasterATyourdomainDOTcom. That means - make sure that these accounts exist, read what's sent to them, and act on complaints.
Finally, make it really easy to unsubscribe. Otherwise, your users will unsubscribe by pressing the spam button, and that will affect your reputation."
Your thoughts on if you can help me....
