Ok, so on my MAMP server on my computer I have PDF's being generated dynamically (with TCPDF) with information from the MySQL database on our WordPress site perfectly fine. All the information is correct, the formatting is correct, and it works/saves just fine.
We just moved this over to our live server today, and for some reason the PDF's will not generate on our live site. When we click on the link to generate the PDF, it thinks for a few seconds and then goes to a completely white page in the browser, with no PDF generation at all. Obviouslly, this is not good.
So far I have found out that by moving the script that generates the PDF into the TCPDF folder, it will generate the PDF correctly, except for it's formatting options (colors, database variables, etc.). So it appears that I am probably not using the WordPress structure correctly; and it can't read in my custom variables, doesn't know what to do with the WordPress functions, or the paths for the url's are not correct.
I have a ton of other things that need to be done this week, and I'm hoping there is a smart freelancer out there that can find the simple stupid mistake that is in our code. I can provide full ftp access to the server and files, the web address for the site, a generated PDF from our local server to see what it is supposed to look like, and anything else that you want/need. We just need this solved right away. The code on our live server is exactly the same as the code on our local server, and is ready to be fixed.
So we need someone that knows what they're doing, and can pinpoint and/or solve our problem quickly. Obviouslly experience with WordPress, PHP/MySQL, and TCPDF would be great benefits on this. However, I almost feel like it's something small and stupid that we aren't including to access everything in WordPress. That, or it's an issue with our hosting company. I don't know, we just need you to find the problem and either let us know what it is, or fix it. We need this done quickly, so please bid accurately on the time it would take. Also, if you know TCPDF inside and out, then we have another project that needs to be handled also, so double bonus on that.
Send me a PM or comment if you have any questions. Thanks all!
