I run a video website that currently runs simple progressive downloads.
In preparation for our move to a CDN and Wowza video streaming, I will need to generate approx 2 - 4 additional versions of my existing video library.
The library is in an Amazon S3 bucket and will need to be processed at a 3rd party video encoding SaaS.
I have accounts at the major services including [url removed, login to view] and [url removed, login to view] etc and these services can be accessed via their Restful API libraries.
Alternately you may want to use a customised or listed ffmpeg Amazon EC2 instance. I also have this account facility enabled at Amazon.
This is a batch job (there are approximately 3200 videos) to be transcoded and will involve an automated script.
For each file, create a download request with automatic encode and
s/ftp_directive to get it back after processing.
Please msg me with any queries.
