We are looking for a talented programmer to carry on developing features we have built on top of our wordpress platform. Please consider this project into two parts.
1. As our previous freelancer left halfway through developing a core feature documented in the link below, we do not know how much has been completed. We therefore require the chosen programmer to a site wide code review and produce a report with details the current situation of any unfinished code, your general findings and any thoughts that you might have on issues that may affect you when it comes to completing the work.
This is a good chance for the programmer to familiarise themselves with our wordpress setup and the style of coding already implemented.
2. Once the programmer and ourselves have discussed and are satisfied that we all understand the current state of the code, we would like the chosen programmer to carry on and finish the features documented here: [url removed, login to view]
As this is a project heavily involved with wordpress, php and MySQL we require the programmer to know his way round the blogging cms and be excellent in writing clean structured code. There will be a level of maths involved with this project, so an understanding of algebra and statistics will be necessary. We are only looking for programmers who are interested in a long-term business relationship, as we have many features in the pipeline and looking to hire a programmer as our lead developer. Communication is very important to us and we hold weekly feedback sessions with freelancers, to discuss any issues or coding matters, so we accordingly require the programmer to be fluent in English and available on Skype consistently when needed.
We understand that we are asking a programmer to come halfway into a project so we don't mind taking time to discuss our setup with the programmer, initially before any work is done to bring them up to speed.
So if you feel you meet our requirements and interested to work in an exciting new start-up, then leave a bid and don't hesitate to ask any questions as we will be happy to answer any issues on the message board.
