I want to integrate third-party authentication in my website. Users should be allowed to authenticate using any of the following logins:
1) Twitter login
2) Google Account
3) Yahoo account
4) MSN & AOL account
6) [url removed, login to view]
7) Facebook login
8) General Open ID url.
(I think all websites from 1 to 6 follow open-id protocol). However, users should be able to authenticate using just their account id on Google/Yahoo etc. (many users know the open-id url - we should convert his/her account id to open id url automatically where applicable). Also, wherever available, we should get the user's photo thumbnail url from the website. (twitter/facebook/google definitely allow, probably others too).
You should provide a mini window/section, with nice logos from above providers.
I only want basic authentication - once logged in, create a session and also add the user's login id to a mysql table (if not already there).
My current website is written in PHP, no cms is used. Your code should use PHP as first choice.
And am looking for someone who can give me neat, clean, maintainable and reusable code!
have already selected a programmer from another site. thanks for the interest.
