I am creating a site where users can come and shop but along with shopping there is a part to create a campaign to raise money, the site is built on the wordpress platform the store portion and the front end account will be covered by the WooCommerce addon and the campaigner side will be handled by wordpress blogging abilities where each campaign is a unique post.
home - dreamers! - shop - checkout!
!1: cookie is placed once 'start shopping' is clicked on a certain campaign page
!2: the cookie is read and displayed on the order
home - shop - checkout!
!: user is forced to select a campaigner in order to finish checkout if there is no cookie in place for a campaign then it will display message
home - start campaign!
!: info is passed from the form to a post with a template including variables from the form (name, amount raising, etc.)
the post will be in a category that is not displayed so that LTD will be able to review it and manually change the category upon approval.
note: some of the variables will be used in a smaller template on the category page
home - my account!
!: upon checkout if the user is logged in then the amount that is donated will be added to the account, this will accumulate and users will be given rewards for reaching certain levels ( needs to take into factor whether it is a donation [92% goes to campaigner] or the guest is purchasing something [50% of cart price before tax])
