Zen Cart - \"Handling Time\" Mod (Admin and Public sides)

Add an "Availability & Shipping Time" information section to each product -

So we can mark products that are normally stocked as

"Ships Today" or "Ships Tomorrow" (Depending on time of day) - Between 0 and 1200 Hrs, ships today, after 1200 Hrs until 23:59 Hrs, Ships Tomorrow)

, and "Ships in 2-3 Business Days"

, "Ships in 4-7 Business Days"

, "Ships in 1-2 weeks"

, and "Currently Backordered"

For the public (Customer) side:

One of the above should show (CSS Styled Text) on the product details page for each product when being viewed on the public side, based

on a flag set either on the product details, or in a separate database table.

A new database table may be required,or it may be added to products table,

a new column would be added - whichever works most effectively - see Admin notes

Admin Notes:

For the admin side, in products listing ([url removed, login to view]) , there needs to be a new column added at some point

(Near the Edit / Delete/ Copy buttons) with a separate icon of the same size to match each status type.

(5 small icons total - If necessary, we can create and drop in icons, to suit whatever icon name makes sense.)

Admin needs to be able to quickly change the status of a product without having to edit the whole product.

(may work something like the "delete" or "copy" button?)

ALSO, the status should be able to be set while editing the product as well.

(Additional field and info or drop down list may be added to edit product page.)

- So , there needs to be 2 places in admin control that can change / update the shipping time status of a product

This is going to be installed in a heavily customized Zen Cart, so the completed project will

include all necessary code, new icons, etc. - It must NOT replace any existing files. They must be modified in place, therefore, requiring step by step installation instructions (Much like how it is done with other Zen Add-Ons)

- We must be able to correctly install the add-on or module and have it working before final milestone payment

is released.

Milestone Payments: We will pay up to 30% of the winning bid as an initial milestone, and release that when

the first draft of the code is done - If it needs no revisions or corrections, the remaining project bid will be released,

Otherwise, an additional 30% milestone will be created and held until final revisions are completed and project has been successfully

installed. Final payment of balance will be paid at the same time as second milestone is released, along with any bonuses we may

choose to award.

Note: This may lead to an ongoing hourly hire, as we have several other things somewhat related that we'll also want done.
