The dedicated webserver running my site becomes slow and unresponsive (10+ seconds to load a page) in the afternoon (the busiest time), though the server load is only around 3 - 5 (usually on non-afternoon times the load is 15 - 20, and it's a lot faster / more responsive). My server's just sitting there, not doing much, and all the pages are taking forever to load... The server's throughput is fine though (500 KBs per sec) all the time though. I don't know what's wrong, but I'd like someone to fix it--MySQL and php probably aren't configured optimally or some such (my site is almost entirely php-based, and uses MySQL databases as well). Basically, make my server more capable of withstanding the peak-load.
My server's running on Fedora 6, with GoDaddy control panel (meaning all of the work will have to be done over SSH). My site's also a hentai (adult) site, so don't bid if you're not ok with that.
Thanks for looking, and happy bidding!
