I am trying to install a PHP accelerator program (eaccelerator, PHP Accelerator or APC Cache -- any will do) and getting segmentation faults :( I read that there are known problems installing these programs on Dual Processor. If anyone knows how to do that I will be happy! My server load drops from 50+ to 3 when the accelerator is running and that is the goal.
My server is:
» Duel Intel Xeon 2.4 Ghz
» 2 GB RAM
» (2) 160 GB HD RAID 1

I have installed lots of apache server with mod_php and turck or ea (with php4 and php4) on smp and even non i386 platforms, I can resolve this for you.
I can do the installation as i have done that many times before on dual xeon servers. Regards.
