PHP developer needs an experienced PHP programmer / system administrator, to assist in finalizing a server migration.
PHP application was upgraded from php4.2.9 to php5. MySQL version was upgraded from 4.? to 5.1
Everything is working pretty much as planned. The only issues I need help resolving are permissions issues for 1 or two scripts as well as some mysterious issues such as particular scripts not working, yet no errors are being logged.
There is a script which handles flat file creation (for an FTP routine which sends said file to a remote server), using simple fopen/fwrite commands. This script can no longer write said file to a particular directory, even though permissions have been set "properly". - NO ERRORS are reported! fopen as well as fwrite DO in-fact work on the server, tested in a separate instance successfully.
Several PHP scripts stop parsing past a particular point, but no errors are reported. Reviewing the code for Depreciated or reserved instances proves worthless - everything should work. Again, NO ERRORS reported!
This is an eCommerce application, loosely based on OScommerce 2.2 (although it's been heavily modified and can be considered a fork).
I estimate I'll need several hours to a day of your time, depending on the scope of the issues discovered.
ONLY VERY EXPERIENCED PHP PROGRAMMERS / LINUX SYSTEM ADMINS apply!!!
