Looking for a process of live - chat that we can operate from a "virtual call center" that trained operatorscan log on to as needed to assistUserslooking for travel vacation plans.
seems an "instant message - live chat system" would be a very effective way to manage and increase conversions.
the operator would dialog (i.e. "chat") with the user ...then send over about five relevant vacation packages (links) .. easily get the user's email.
could get lots of preferences.. and if the recommendations are relevant and the deals were good...we would sell a much higher percentage of the traffic than they are currently selling by phone or thru the automated booking widget.
if we were able to get 500 calls a day ..and convert 10% ..that would be $15,000..
if an operator were able to handle 6 calls simultaneously and the avg call was 10 minutes...then if there was perfect balance of the calls...one person could handle the entire load....even if you doubled up and paid each $30/hr ..that would still be great profit.
the key i think would be very well trained operators who could work out of their houses..we pay and train college kids..and they are able to come on to our system (extranet?) and if they are needed to provide chat support then a green light appears and they can start handling calls..if we no longer need them..then we log them off..
they get to keep $30/hr...provided they get great customer satisfaction ratings and high productivity (email address and conversions and preferences)
does any one know where we can build a system like this..??
