We have 200 hospitals placing their (food)orders
by fax 6 times a week, maximum 4 weeks ahead.
We type in these orders line by line in our order-system, running in a Pervasive database on a Netwareserver with Win98se workstations.
We use VB6 as language for ordersystem.
A user/password entry-based website,
logged in kitchen will see: only those articles he uses, a grid (sample will be added later) wich he can scroll verical by items, horizontal by max. 4 weeks in future, 2 weeks back for history.
He can place/update qty in colums, based on a max programmable time, e.g. today , 4 hours from now.
He can print a form at his site for his orders.
We get changes or by real-time or by warning if orders arrive or change.
We need to readin in our database orders based on userkey, deliverydate, itemkey and qty.
We have need to maintain our website for
new customers and/or change username/passwords.
We need interface to upload our useritemlist to a 'webcustomerslist' based on what he uses.
He will see only these items.
We also need interface to upload our complete list. Then user must be able to pick 'new-to-him' items for starting to use them.
User can only add/update/delete orders,
user can add new items, user can delete items from his userlist if no pending orders exist for this item(s).
Base on sample screen he will see 6 days, full screen with items, choices to show by group.
e.g. Milkproducts, Fish, Meat etc.
