The PHP script would go to [login to view URL]
Where X = a number
This number would be definable in the script. For example, if we had
X=100-999
The first time the script is executed from a cron job it would go to...
[login to view URL]
and then the next time it is executed it would go to...
[login to view URL]
and then the next time....
[login to view URL]
etc, etc, up to 999.
Each time it visits the URL it would scrape 11 fields.
These fields are all simple HTML, and on the same page. Nothing difficult in terms of scraping.
When scraping this data it would generate a file (let's say [login to view URL]) with content that looked like this:
!!->->->[1]<-<-<-!!
Field 1
Field 2
Field 3
Field 4
Field 5
Field 6
Field 7
Field 8
Field 9
Field 10
Field 11
The first line: !!->->->[1]<-<-<-!! contains the ID number of what was scraped.
If a field is missing, it would just insert a #
Just give me a shout if you have any questions about the page to be scraped and I'll show you exactly what it is.
