Small project that takes RSS feeds of articles from approx 65 sites, displays them on an admin page that allows me to tag articles, and select or deselect them to be included in a newsletter, and uses mailchimp to send on a daily basis. The form to capture emails should be responsive. This will be built into a wordpress site. Here are the specific tasks.
1. Convert PSD into HTML on email capture page using: [url removed, login to view] (only font, small HTML changes, and small CSS changes). See design on newsletter.png. You'll notice that each user subscribes to particular content types, and then only receives those in their email
2. Special links- The first link a user clicks on will open popoutpage.png. This should only happen on the first link. When anyone shares a link from this page, or from their email, we track how many people have clicked the link, and also show them a landing page ([url removed, login to view], [url removed, login to view], [url removed, login to view]). On [url removed, login to view], we show how many people have clicked on links they've shared in the past 7 days
3. Convert a PSD into HTML for a newsletter (newsletter). There are two variables:
a. Subscribers only see emails of the content types they chose
b. If >1 person has head an article they have shared, we show them the number of people
4. Admin- the admin receives daily RSS feeds of articles from 65 blogs. Allows me to decided whether to include or not in the newsletter, tag to a content type, and also add articles that did not come through the RSS. Wireframe here: [url removed, login to view]
