I want to create a website that sends automatic dmca removal links ( you know the emails you can send to a torrent site, to remove your own copyright work).
I have a crawler that builds a database with titles - name - website urls of all torrents availabel on about 30 sites. Just cron needs to be set up to run it regularly and make sure the old ones are removed.
Now I need a drupal site where a user can login, go to a search page, search for his own copyrighted material, check boxes and press the button "send dmca removal mails". Somebody half-built this module, so there is a place to start from, there is also a basic drupal site.
There should be a ubercart system per role, where there are three roles who pay a different amount, which lets them send for instance 30 mails a month. If there quota is reached, they should get a message with an upgrade membership link.
Full description in attachment.
I am not in a hurry to finish this, I am a drupal developer myself, so I can help with the thinking, but I don';t have time to work on it myself.
I am not in a hurry to finish this project.
In the end we might elaborate the project with theme or more functions with extra pay of course (new or additional project).
Details: I need a simple Drupal 7 module that can search an existing database for entries, display them and send an email to the checked items.
Once a user is logged in, a user can go to a search page that searches for in a separate database that I have with a simple structure:
-> 1 table with name - date - url
The search should only be on the field “name”.
The search results list all of the fiels of the resuls in a table with a checkbox before them.
The user can thus check entries, and click “send email”. When doing this, the an automatic email is send out that should contain:
- a standard message
- title of the file
- username and url of the user
- sent by field should be the user’s email
for each of the checked entries.
Where should these emails be sent? De database contains entries of about 10 sites. For each of these sites, I have an email address.
(for some of the sites, there might be a contact form instead of an email address, in that case, a mail should be sent through the contact form on the site (if this is too hard, some site might be excluded).)
The user should be able to see (on a separate page) for which urls an email has been sent out and at what date. So there should be a page that lists all emails sent and at what date and for which url + name.
The number of emails send out per month for a user should be limited depending on his role. If a user attempts to send more emails than is allowed. There should be a (gentle) warning message with a clear link to upgrade his role and purchase a more comprehensive membership. I will handle the ubercart side of the site.
- working search/check that old torrents are removed from database
- working sending email
- finishing touches/ubercart side
