1. We are a company which serves a community since 1998 and we want to enhance our service offering a different online community / social networking platform.
2. The web platform: we use an ASP service, based on a very customized Drupal implementation to be able to manage multiple websites. You will notice some differences at the administrative area.
3. Project Status: we launched the beta, but it was structured to have 2 different menus - anonymous users (public area) and logged users (members-only area). The menu implemented is the one designed to the public area, that's why it is not appropriate to logged members (community-related menus are not there). We had issues to implement 2 different menus, so we are changing to a unified menu (see PDF attached).
4. What we need:
4.1.1 Implement the site structure described on the PDF (or enhanced version) - maybe integrate with Google Calendar.
4.1.2 Implement the process to create and manage content
4.1.3 Implement the process to create and manage users
4.1.4 Review the profile fields, Skype direct connection, etc
4.1.5 Review all content and users' permissions
4.2 Short term
4.2.1 Plan and Implement Members' project using future subchannels feature (an enhanced group)
4.2.2 Events management area (module or integration with external website)
If the project goes ok, we might have several similar projects to other clients using the same platform.
