We already have an ecommerce website which we are looking to improve.
We are looking for an ongoing relationship with a trustworthy programmer and designer who will be able to communicate well in english on msn messenger and skype.
You will work according to specific projects to improve the website. Payment will be made once we are satisfied the work is complete.
You will need to know php and mysql as well as xml and xhtml and other languages commonly required for ecommerce websites.
The project will require you to improve our website in the following specific areas:
[url removed, login to view] shopping cart: Currently we have a shopping cart which works with paypal, but don't have the ability to change postage cost according to whether the item is to be sent international or domestic. This we need to create. Knowledge of Mysql and php required.
[url removed, login to view] browsing of items funtionality: Once a category or item is selected for viewing we have 4 boxes at the bottom that fill with products randomly. We would like this to be changed to that they are filled in order so that our customers know when they have seen everything. Knowledge of Mysql and php required.
[url removed, login to view] for search engines: We would like the database and code written in a way to improve the possibility of us ranking high in the search engines. Specifically for words like bracelets and necklaces to be optimised. Our goal is to appear on the first page for searches made on bracelets and necklaces. Knowledge of Mysql and php required.
As well as this we are looking for someone who will be able to contribute and put into place strong marketing ideas for the website. The main focus is on providing functionality which will increase customer engagement such as blogs.
