Intelligent Marketing would like to have a website designed to display their environmentally friendly corporate gifts and promotional products. The website will serve as a catalogue and information site.
The site needs to be as simple and straight forward as possible. Easy to navigate, with a logical flow, the less clicks the better!
I have broken the site down into the different elements and explained in detail how the site must be structured and function. Please refer to the attached images where applicable when reading this design brief.
Horizontal Navigation Bar (Images: [url removed, login to view] and [url removed, login to view]):
The horizontal navigation bar must include 4 tabs:
4. Contact Us
We do not want to make use of sub category tabs from the 4 main tabs, however please refer to the image ([url removed, login to view]) to understand how we want the tabs to react on hover.
Vertical Navigation Bars ([url removed, login to view])
The home-page vertical navigation bar must include 8 tabs:
5. Contact Us
7. Our Blog
8. Partners & Testimonials
Products-page vertical navigation bar must include (Image: Products & Info):
The CMS/Admin Panel must allow the admin to add more categories to all the menus. So if an admin wants to add “Bags” to the product-page vertical menu they must be able to from the admin control panel. The new products would be in coloured boxes as per the attached images and the colours would repeat themselves after the yellow box. (So 6 colour boxes for the menus that repeat themselves when new items are added)
It is vital that this navigation bar slides down with the browser to allow the browser to navigate from wherever they are on the site. We want to avoid losing the browser's attention by having them have to scroll up to navigate elsewhere on the site.
Category Display Page
If the browser clicks on a product category like pens we would like all the pens to list as per the attached image (Products + Info). The only difference is that instead of loading from below the last product category (Bookmarks) we would like all the categories below the selected category to drop down and have the products load from below the selected product category.
The browser clicks on “pens” and the menu drops like so:
1.1. Recycled CD Pencil
1.2. Recycled Games Consol Pen
Obviously following the design as per the image (Products + [url removed, login to view])
Product Fly Page
View Recycled CD Pencil and Recycled Games Consol Pen on Product + Info image.
New products must be able to be added from the admin control panel in the same layout as per (Products + Info).
As per the navigation bars – about us, contact us, materials, our partners, testimonials.
We would also like a thank-you page for after the client has contacted us via a web-form on the 'contact us' page. I will provide the coding for this as we would like to use [url removed, login to view] and feed all the info directly into [url removed, login to view] for email marketing.
Content Management System
Ideally we would like the site to be built on a CMS like Drupal or Joomla, however, if this is going to be challenging then a custom admin panel using core .php coding can be quoted for provided that we have the functionality to add and edit products, add and edit navigation bags and add edit standard pages.
Please provide some logo design options for the wording IMGREEN. The client wants something totally unique (2 colours max) as he is trying to create a brand - something easily recognisable at first glance.
Module/div Positions (Image: [url removed, login to view] & Products)
1. Horizontal Navigation
2. Vertical Navigation
3. Main Content
4. 3 Column layout for Green Products, Read Our Blog and Special Offers – please view hoverdetail2 for hover graphics and colour for this section.
5. 3 Column layout for site map tree, cartoon and social media links.
The backend must also include the ability to add Resellers and provide them with a password and login. Once logged in to the front end we want the registered users to be able to view current pricing. We want to be able to change all pricing by uploading from a excel spreadsheet and not individually. Please include a bulk upload function to change pricing. We can do this by linking it the product name or product code.
