We run a modified car enthusiasts at [url removed, login to view] for local drivers interested in in-car audio, performance cars, car shows etc. with forum, gallery and event information.
The site is currently using Mambo, but it will eventually be upgraded to Joomla and to coincide with this, we are seekin a new look.
Currently our template is a slightly modified rhuk_planetfall template, however we would like a more customised car-themed look to reflect who and what we are. Although we are a small site with limited members we still require a professional look so that any new visitors will be compelled to join our community.
Some images of our members show cars could be provided.
Also a much simpler phpbb2 template for our forum is required to continue the theme.

The site does not have to use flash however something beyond the usual square boxes and columns layout of most joomla templates would be good.
Again more examples of the quality we require here http://www.finerdesign.com/car_website_templates.htm we would consider purchasing one of these for someone to customise and edit to suit, could someone inform me if it is possible to make joomla look as good as these, or should we consider not using joomla at all ?
