I am looking to create a site that contains similar features as [url removed, login to view] .com and [url removed, login to view] with some fundamental differences. The system can run off an already built networking software but must be completely transparent of outside sources (ie look like the site was built in-house)
21st Century Union Requirements
Two specific social groups:
Hammers – General public needing jobs to be done. With the option to post their job into a group or to search for a local business with job type, post code and three tick box requirements; 24hour response, senior citizen, special offers. (Section A) The Hammer needs only an email and a postcode to join up to register, the email needs to be verified by sending an email, clicking to activate the account.
Vulcans – Businesses/ contractors need to be able to see jobs, contact, email and discuss the job requirements. Their visible home page is needs to contain the information of Section B, Company name, logo, contact, positive feedback etc. Preferably the feedback would be automatic or be editable by myself. The Vulcan needs to add all the information in Section B which will need to be sent to us for verification and to be added to a database, so we will need be able to review details, approve or deny profile, and an automatic email that will be sent to the Vulcan depending on if it was successful. The Tab section will show different pages of information, eg Tab B is photos of their work.
The site needs to contain similar functions as both [url removed, login to view] .com and [url removed, login to view]
We need to be able to import trader details in volume via a spreadsheet as well as normal registration.
The Vulcans profile page will take on the form of Section B, and needs to have a CMS (content management system) for hammers to add details and comments on their work (which might link with the positive/negative feedback section)
The Hammers profile page would ideally list their jobs (groups) and needs to contain the search options of Section A. The search must be able to filter by company name, business type, job type, subject etc, specific post codes and allow the further 3 tick boxes.
All users should be able to integrate facebook and twitter accounts
There needs to be the ability for both social groups to donate to charity through our site, and a record of the number of times a Vulcan has donated needs to be added to their Profile page (Section B) , and possibly for the Hammers too.
SEO (search engine optimisation) for a number of key trades and jobs.
The Hammer after choosing a trader and agreed a deal/start date should be able to email us with a request for cover insurance, which needs to be an automated for us to approve or decline and an email response being sent to the Hammer.
We also need to be able to delete/suspend/change profiles.
Section C and the search bar (Section A) I would like to have permanently on every page; by clicking these sections they would be taken to designated pages.
24hour emergency response – a page detailing the requirements of a 24hour call out business. Possibly a link to Vulcans with this option ticked.
Senior citizen – The senior citizen code of conduct for businesses, senior discounts.
About the union – section containing contact details and information about the site.
How/why join – benefits, no costs, use of local businesses, no obligation, charity details
Your guarantee – how we protect customers and businesses from fraud or non payment. Details for insurance cover
Rate your supplier – Still under development
Add your charity or good cause – a contact us section where people can suggest charities for us to use/donate to
Donate to charity –PSP link for donation, through credit or debit card only
Vulcan Awards – section for highest rated businesses or most times donated.
All these options and layouts are open for changes if you feel it can be laid out better.
Payment upon satisfactory completion via freelance escrow.
