I'm on a shared server running Fedora Core 4.
A while back we had some issues.. and I believe this problem was caused by someone updating us from PHP 4 to PHP 5. that person is no longer available to speak to us though.. so, I'm even unsure of the exact origin.
But ever since that time, a number of our web applications produce errors. And I believe it's a permissions problem with PHP.
Here is a part of it "Warning: editSettings() [[url removed, login to view]]: open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/usr/share/pear/[url removed, login to view]) is not within the allowed path(s): "
We've had people attempt to fix this in the past.. but they seemed to have fixed individual cases, and not actually fix the ROOT of the problem. We need someone that can come in.. understand the problem.. and fix it so that we never have to worry about it again.
If you're able to do this, please bid.
