Add a simple Multilingual Translation feature to PHPMotion v3.5 template shown on this site. [url removed, login to view]
The end result should look similar to the feature shown in the ClipShare v4.1 script shown here: [url removed, login to view] and include ability to modify css characteristics of the feature should we change templates on the site. Feature should be designed as an add-on to PHPMotion so it can be reused with different PHPMotion templates and automatically integrate itself into those templates.
Translation features using Google services preferred.
A translation feature that functions like we want (translates the entire page) can be previewed on this WordPress site. [url removed, login to view]
The underlying script for the translation plugin active on this WordPress site is GTranslate available here: [url removed, login to view] The site uses the free version but we would like our PHPMotion video site to incorporate the features described in the paid version and for it to work seamlessly with PHPMotion. The developer's site covers the SEO considerations and implications of translated pages. Another widely used WordPress Translation plugin is Global Translator available here: [url removed, login to view] Both have GPL versions available to draw from and should provide base PHP code for this project.
This blog [url removed, login to view] also provides an overview of the SEO considerations related to the video script ClipShare (not PHPMotion), but such considerations are most likely similar among video scripts and will also be related to translation and SEO implications.
