This assignment is an excercise found in the book "Essentials of Programming Languages" by Daniel P. Friedman.
Exercise 3.52 - More than one call-by-reference parameter may refer to the same location, as in the following programming.
let b = 3
p = proc (x, y)
begin
set x = 4;
y
end
in (p b b)
This yields 4 since both x and y refer to the same location, which is the binding of b. This phenomenom is known as variable aliasing. Here x and y are aliases(names) for the same location. Aliasing makes it very difficult to understand programs. Generally, we do not expect an assignment to one variable to change the value of another. Vitually all rules for reasoning formally about programs are invalid in the presence of aliasing.
Test the call-by-reference interpreter with programs that demonstrate aliasing.
I will need 3 things:
1. Executable Code
2. Examples you can run and outcome
3. Explanation of changes and output.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
## Platform
This program needs to be executable on any version of DrScheme available at
