We install on Novell Netware 3.2 XP-PRO stations, at first install of windows and adding Mircrosoft Netware Client we create Netware login. As sample: Windows-user JACK, then will be at Netware login also JACK, no passwords.
Then later we want to give the workstation to PETER, here we do not want to add a new User due all the work for shortcuts, programs, backgrounds etc, we have to do for the new user in XP.
Problem is: is I change name of account-user JACK to PETER for windows would that be ok, but due to Netware the logon
will allways stay JACK, even if I type PETER as login , restart,
JACK comes back.
Using teh Netware Client is not a option due to Btrieve and Pervasive errors if station runs on the server with this client.
So a need a easy solution to set new Username to e.g. PETER
If needed we can use regedit.
