I made this mash-up of Engadget's and Gawker's layouts in Photoshop and would like to have it made into a Wordpress theme. Now, I don't know much (anything, really) about code, but I require no fancy image or text effects in my theme, only the "Featured Posts" in various areas like the top of the page and sidebar. I had already hired someone to work on it, but it's been over 90 days, he never finished it and fails to respond to my messages, so I decided to post it here. Bidders should give an estimation as to how much time it should take to compete the work.
Here are the Photoshop mock-ups:

Post: [url removed, login to view]
Here's a description of how the theme should work, based on the Photoshop images:
> Five featured posts (the 5 gray boxes) at the top of the page (this is globally, for the whole site, posts included)
> "Inicia Sesion" would take the user to the Wordpress login/register page, and so would "Registrate".
> The section left to the search bar ("Lo Otaku", "Lo Tech", would be links to two specific categories.
> The section below the search bar (the orange boxes with "img" in them) would have three featured artices which would simply be plain images with links to the posts, which I'd be abe to change in code; no need for a fancy Theme Settings page
> Below that, are quick links ("Enlaces Rapidos"), which are links to those three specific categories.
> On the right of the quick links are links to Twitter, the site's RSS and a mailto:tips@... link ("Diganos"). Also, the text "Acerca de" would be a link a specific post.
> Under "Video del Momento" is the featured video, which would be where the Flash Video Player Plugin from Wordpress Extend plugins page. The featured video would only be seen on the front page.
> The links to specific categories would lead to a page identical to the homepage, with the exception, of course, that the only posts displayed are that of the specific category. Featured video should not be displayed.
> The search results page should also be identical to the homepage, only without the featured video, and displaying only posts that matched the search.
> All ads are plain image with links; no need for Adsense
> The bottom of the site should always have the section "Sitios Que Nos Gustan", which would be a list with links to featured and/or affiliated sites.
> The sidebars should remain the same in every page and post.
The rest is self-explanatory by the images themselves.
