Wordpress theme function.
Looking for someone who knows / familiar with ClassiPress.
Everything is working including payment processing.
I just need a simple "function" file - what I can call from my "[url removed, login to view]" or "[url removed, login to view]" file.
To make: if listing in a Free category......then Cost: $0.
I've paid categories and free categories.
Right now - when someone want to list in a Free Category - I give them a coupon code - to type in - (which then makes it free listing.)
I just want a "function" - so, those who list in a "free category" - don't need to type in / use the coupon code ---and a "function" will do it.
I have Paid and Free Categories.
Each category have a value (cost) assigned.
Price is set to: "Fix Price"
Pricing is set to: "Ad Packs".
So a user selects a Category to list in and selects an Ad Pack.
For Paid ads: 1 month, 3 month, 6 month, 1 year
For Free ads: 30 days free. (free listing is - 30 Days only.)
I only want it one thing!
When a user selects a FREE category to list.......then to make a listing free!
This function could be based on the Categories ID's......or the Free categories Value
if category id_191....then cost $0
I'm sure you know better how to make the function work the best.
Users listing process:
1st......the user selects the Category
2nd....the user selects the Ad Packs. (30 days free)
3rd.....the user click continue
4th..... next screen "review your listing" ..and displays....Cost.
If the selected category is a free category then it should charged 0 and it will display "Cost: $0"
So all I want is....when a user selects a Free category to list in...then cost is: $0.
50% at start.
50% final when project completed.
Let me know if you have any question.
I'm familiar with ClassiPress and I can make it decide whether ad is paid or free based on category. Will provide instructions on how you can reimplement a patch in case you updated ClassiPress later.
