I have a PHP script that loops though a list and creates subdomains on a unix web host. It works perfectly, although only from the main hosted domain. I'd like it to work from Add-on domain(s).
There is a "change all" process in the code that effects the whole domain - and I'd like it to effect only the add-on domain and subdomains underneath the add-on domain. I think this may be the only problem with the script - the fact that the changes effect the whole directory structure rather than the files in folders and child folders from where the script is executed.
This change that will allow me to use the script on multiple add-on domains, creating the same sub-domains under each add-on domain.
As a programmer, but not a php programmer, I took a quick look at the script. This is what I think it does:
The script includes a web form. Once the form is filled out by the user and submitted, the process loops through, creating some xml, and creating subdomains. Then it does a change-all to customize the html text based on data from the form that the user filled out.
I think it should be a pretty easy change if you know PHP and how shared webhosting works with install scripts.
