You are required to build a MySQL database driven XHTML and PHP website to manage volunteers who wish to help out at a convention – you can choose what the convention is about (make it something that interests you). People who wish to volunteer can register on the website and specify which time slots they are available to help. The organisers of the convention can log in to the website and allocate tasks to volunteers.
it will need client and server side web development, in particularly in the essential areas of form processing, form validation and database interaction.
IMPORTANT : Registration page is done (the rest need to be build upon that)
It must use the new MySQLi
// comments are requested for each part explaining what they do
Instruction on how to put it together and make it work also required
The book used for this is Welling, L., & Thompson, L. (2009). PHP and MySQL Web Development (4th ed.). Boston: Addison-Wesley (mandatory)
