I have attached a slightly more detailed version of these instructions as word file. Dear Sirs/madams Here is the current state of the website [login to view URL] Aims of this project ----------------------- To get the this website redesigned/rebranded I need you to do the minimum to get this website live ASAP, as I have wasted a lot of time with two developers. Tasks 6. & 7. can come later once the site is live. Working Environment ----------------------- This website is running on a windows server 2003 machine & IIS, like the original. The work can be done on the Windows Server 2003 via remote desktop, you will have ftp access too. The Tasks ------------ 1. Changing the shop navigation in the left column. I will provide you with an Excel file (NEW MAIN [login to view URL]) that has the navigational Structure. Replace the navigation on the left column with drop down selection boxes. On the current site there is an example of that on the top right corner titled "Quick Compatibility Search". These are intended to replace, Bluetooth Car Kits, Cradle Car Kits, Plug n Go etc in the left column. You need to slice this photoshop file up and transform the site into my new design. 3. Update the Product Database, I will provide the updated database in excel format ([login to view URL]). 4. The website already has a protex payment processor integrated with the shopping cart. You need to make sure this works with our new Protex account details. 5. Paste in the updated text for pages on the website such as "About Us", "FAQ" etc (I will provide these in word format). As you know the new website will be called handsfree-warehouse.co.uk. Replace any remaining mentions of the old website-name on the website or database with the new name. Tasks 6. & 7. below can come later after the site is live. 6. I will also have to source images for the vehicle manufacturer logos and select by product type which I will get soon. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Apart from the obvious I'am looking for a developer that can start very soon, and that is willing and able to comunicate well.
