Hi all. I have a online booking form ([url removed, login to view]) that I would like to add a payment option to. This was started by another programmer but they seemed to have vanished from Scriplance. The form itself may need to be tweaked to make it work with a payment system but it is 90% there already. The main highlights are as follows:
Present the customer with a landing page, they can choose to either pre-pay or make a tentative reservation as it is currently setup. This way i think it will be easier to design and on the landing page could describe both options. If you are not 110% clear customers always seem to read things the wrong way. Do not worry about styling the pages, I can write XHTML and read PHP.
There will need to be two separate emails sent to customers based on the original file ([url removed, login to view] ), one for those customers that have tentatively booked and another for those that have prepaid with the customers total etc. I can customize these as needed i just need you to create the template files like those already in place. Oh could we also have a different success page for if the customer pays or not.
As for modifying the form, i think i am on the right track but the customer has no way to select if they have adults, children or seniors. Since there are different pricing for ages this would need to be included for those prepaying. I think you can see where i am trying to go with this so hopefully you will be able to pick it up from here. I guess we need more drop boxes for amount of adults, children and seniors in a certain vehicle. It would be nice if these only appear if that tour / rental is selected.
There will need to be a coupon code area on the payment page, the coupons are on this page: [url removed, login to view]
The first few letters are always the same so this can be used to detect the discount. It would be nice to validate if there are 6 adults for the $10 off coupon. The military discount will have to be checked at our office.
A very similar design will then need to be copied to a second website: [url removed, login to view]
This only has the rentals so the tour part of the form would simply be removed.
