**Do not bid if you do not have experience building CSS based layouts and you are not comfortable working with Yahoo Grids **
This job consists entirely of HTML and CSS.
**You must use the Libraries from _Yahoo Grids_**for this project.
This is my second time posting this project. The previous developer did not use Yahoo Grids, and I wasted my money.
Some notes about the layout:
1. #main is the very most outer div
2. #header contains the following divs:
3. #subheading contains the following divs:
4. #wrapper contains the following divs:
5. #left contains the following divs:
6. #content_outer contains the following divs:
7. #right contains the following divs:
Each div is color coded, so you can zoom in to see the exact areas.
- #left and #right are 160px columns.
- #main_outer is fixed width.
- put sample text in each box.
- The whole layout must be scaleable depending on the users font size setting.
I need this done asap, so only bid if you can deliver a beta version in one day. Of course I can wait a bit longer for all of the various browser quirks to be worked out. Hopefully using the Yahoo libraries will minimize this. The important thing is for me to have something that I can at least plug into the system for review, quickly.
Technical Requirements for this project: 1. Must use the very nice Yahoo Grids CSS library for the entire layout (no tables). 2. Support all major browsers: IE 6+, Firefox 2+, Safari OS X, and Opera. 3. Font can be increased, and decreased in size and the text (and layout) expand/collapse properly. Use Yahoo Fonts CSS with fonts specified in EM preferably. Deliverables: 1) CSS template, coded using Yahoo Grids library. 2) Fonts to be done using Yahoo Fonts library, specified in EMs, and scalable. 3) Further to #2, site must be scalable so the user can increase/decrease font size as desired using browser controls. The site (font size and layout) will expand, decrease gracefully. 4) Site must be CSS valid and XHTML valid for the latest standards. 5) Must work in all major browsers: IE 6+, Firefox 2+, Safari OS X, and Opera.
Latest major browsers: 1. Firefox 2+ 2. IE 6+ 3. Safari OS X 4. Opera Bonus Assets (for future consideration): 1. Experience with AJAX in general. 2. Experience with Prototype. 3. Experience with jQuery.
