We have built a site in Jomala/VirtueMart and need a few modifications to help us get up and running:
**_1) Price Grid and Volume Discounts_**
We would like the Quantity field to default to 25, and not accept anything less than that. The VirtueMart component allows setting a minimum order in terms of dollars, but not in terms of items.
We need quantity discounts set up when the add products to the cart.
A change would be required to allow the Show Prices option referenced above to be set to Show Prices (i.e. checked) but then simply suppress the actualshowing of prices, since we will be showing a price grid.
Currently, the pricing grid is contained within the database field with the description of the product, but is in fact identical for every product. We'd like to move it out of there into a PHP page (hopefully an include), and add a configuration page to control the numbers that show up. Ideally, we could
set the values in the grid on the admin page, and that would drive the prices that would show on the site, as well as the actual prices charged based on the number of cards ordered.
**_2) Coupons _** VirtuMart is currently set up for coupons that have a dollar value. We need to keep this and make it possible to have a coupon for a number of items. (eg: 5 free cards)
These two modifications should be very quick and simple. They are our most pressing and need to be done before Feb.25. We will only be accepting bids for 2 days, but will award the project sooner if the right bid come in from a qualified coder.
There are many more changes we will be getting done after this one. This project could lead to more work.
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
