Build a simple website that has a input box for any zip code that will then output a 7 day weather forecast. Depending on availability and pricing outside weather data may have to be purchased via a license.
The goal is to have users come to the site and enter in their location in the input box and receive their weather data for their area similar to weather.com. The difference will be that the system will read the output from the weather service and serve up a specific graphic along with the weather graphic depending on the weather data. So for example, if there was a typical forecast of clouds + rain the image would show clouds and rain as well as another box that will show another image based on the information received. This will be a customized image based on what the weather output is with certain thresholds. If for example the temperature is a certain amount, combined with the clouds and rain a certain image would show up.
The website should have an easy to use interface and integrate a 300x250 ad bar as well as a 728x90 ad bar.
I have attached a preliminary idea of what I am looking for.
You will have to program a way so that the system can read the weather data and display the custom images accordingly each time that I specify.
