I seek code to get instant shipping quotes from the web services of UPS and USPS using their XML interface.
origin zip code (US)
destination zip code (US)
package dimensions (H x W x D) or (tube diameter and height)
company or companies to get quote from
service or services to quote (ie ground, 2nd day air, overnight...)
An array for each quote containing
name of company
service (ie ground, 2nd day air, overnight...)
Shipping date should be the next business day.
I would like the class to return quotes from USPS and UPS.
I would like the class to inform if the weight or the dimensions exceed limits of specific carriers.
All quotes will be for individual packages.
I do not need the class to initiate an order, print shipping labels or track shipments.
I do not need quotes for shipping overseas.
