why going with wordpress? if you want brand new ite then get is designed and developed a fresh one. not with any open source. if you go with open source like wordpress joomla etc... your website will be hacked soon. and it will always get hacked after every few days interval. i recommend you fresh development and keep it secure. you can get any well documented API i will implement into your website.
