I will be setting up a team of developers working from Nairobi, to create a website platform that sells lottery tickets for international lotteries, similar to this one: redfoxlotto.com.
To start with, I need some basic work done on a freelance basis - this is what this initial project has been created for. If you are also interested in a permanent role in the development of the rest of the project, please read the final part of the description:
Setting up the database for the project
Creating the framework for the backend, including secure admin access, user management
Some editing of the already existing WordPress website (on which the frontend sales functions will later be displayed)
I have created a video that will give you an overview of the most important functionalities of the website frontend and backend.
frontend: [login to view URL]
backend CRM: [login to view URL]
WordPress, HTML, CSS for CMS
php, MySQL or PostgreSQL for database
Alternatively: Node.js (backend?), React.js (frontend?)
RESTful API for integrations
The final project will include:
A) Frontend development - the frontend functions for ticket sales and customer account area will have to be integrated into a multilingual WordPress site, meaning the development of widgets that can be integrated into specific pages of a WordPress website.
B) Development of the backend for the operator (Customer Retention Management).
C) Backend for the customer
D) Miscellaneous integrations (payment service providers, ticket purchasing as a service provided by a third party)
I will hire a team of 4 developers on the basis of a fixed monthly salary (salary to be discussed). The project management will be done in the fashion of Agile Project Management. If you have experience in Agile Project Management, please let me know. One of the 4 developers will take a lead role in the project.
My estimate is that it will take 1500-2000 coding hours to complete. The timeline is important, the project should be ready to launch within 3 months. The start of the project will be around or after August 15th, 2022 (except for the above parts that can be done remotely and before that date).
The final team will work from the same space (in Nairobi) under my supervision.
After completion and launch of the project, at least 2 of the developers will stay on board on a salary basis, for maintenance, improvements, and adding of additional functions.
Please respond here if you are interested. Give me some info on your qualifications, suggestions on the technology you think should be used.
